Main Duties:

An opportunity has arisen within the Local Transport Plan Development (LTPD) Team for a Project Officer. The nature of the post will be to assist and support the LTPD Team in the management and delivery of the ERDF funded SUD project. SUD will deliver the first phase of the Liverpool City Region (LCR) Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP). Specific tasks will include, but not be restricted to:

Monitor on behalf of the LCR transport partners progress in relation to the SUD project;
Report progress relating to the SUD project (both written and verbal) to the appropriate committees and Boards;
To liaise with LCR Transport Partners and provide strategic coordination to ensure implementation of SUD ensuring it is delivered on time and to budget; and
Assist in the budget management of the ERDF funded SUD project.

Applicants should be degree-educated, or equivalent or with at least 3 years’ experience in either the transport sector, funding regimes or project management.
