Are you an experienced highways professional seeking the next step in your career?
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Highways professionals to join Halton’s multi-disciplinary infrastructure team in embarking on the prestigious Mersey Gateway Plus regeneration project.
Working with colleagues from a range of disciplines, this project presents the opportunity to work on all stages of a development; from inception through to completion.
With a degree or equivalent level qualifications in a highways related discipline, you will have previous experience of working on large scale or complex projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
You will have demonstrable experience of applying project management principles within a complex environment to successfully deliver projects on time and in budget. In doing so, you will have used your up to date working knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards to effectively identify and manage risk; seeking and creatively applying solutions where necessary.
Able to operate within a sometimes challenging and pressurised, but ultimately rewarding environment, your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to engage, influence and negotiate with a range of stakeholders to achieve consensus.
You will have excellent organisational skills, enabling you to prioritise and organise a busy workload within a complex programme of projects, and will be confident in working independently, when required.
