This is a unique and very exciting opportunity to join the team which is designing and delivering outstanding cycling and walking infrastructure as part of Sustrans Design and Engineering programme across the UK, with particular focus on North and Mid Wales projects involving rural and urban cycling and walking infrastructure and street design schemes from conception to delivery, thus creating safer and more attractive conditions for active travel.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a relevant qualification in an engineering or architecture discipline, you will have cycling and walking facility and highway engineering design experience, experience of the production of technical drawings and specifications and the development of infrastructure projects. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships and have knowledge of cycling and walking infrastructure design guidance. You will be IT literate with experience of AutoCAD and other computer aided design software and committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
