Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2020
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to directly lead and deliver a wide variety of transport projects in the Harrogate district, with a particular focus on sustainable transport.
A key priority for the postholder will be to develop a network of electric vehicle charging points across the district and prepare bid ready site specifications taking into account all the potential factors associated with installing such infrastructure.
Other priority work areas that will complement this main project include developing cycling schemes, working with other stakeholders to ensure new developments have appropriate sustainable transport provision and supporting the strategic work of the Council's Transport Planner.
We are looking for someone who;
* Has a strong track record in project delivery
* Has a good knowledge of sustainable transport issues
* Is able to work well to tight deadlines
* Can communicate confidently and effectively with a range of stakeholders
* Holds a degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
