Main Job description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Traffic Signals Team located in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. Oxfordshire is a thriving county with one of the fastest growing economies in the country.

You will be part of the team responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management of the traffic signal network within the county and acting as a lead professional on the specialist subject.

The successful candidate will hold a minimum of a relevant professional qualification to level 4 NVC (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 year’s experience in the traffic signals industry. Formal training and experience of using specialist IT and systems e.g. signal controllers specifications (TR2500), traffic signal modelling software (LINSIG, TRANSYT) Fault management software (RMS, Tramms), Area signal control (UTC/SCOOT) and an appreciation of Urban Traffic Management and Control systems (Voyager/COMET) will be required.
