Integrated Network & Partnerships Manager

Cornwall Council

Job: Integrated Network & Partnerships Manager
Ref: 220000ZF
Location: Truro, Cornwall
Salary: £39,660 - £47,664
Closing Date: 29th May 2022

Cornwall Council’s Environment and Connectivity service has a new exciting job opportunity.

Do you have a passion for public transport? Are you commercially astute? Understand how to develop a bus network and work in close collaboration and partnership with operators and stakeholders? If yes we’d love to hear from you.

Cornwall Council is leading the way delivering high quality rural bus services – we have an extensive network, the youngest tendered fleet in the country and an innovative 8 year contract to drive growth in passenger numbers. The pandemic has interrupted this but we are bouncing back and are launching the huge Bus Fares Pilot soon to reduce fares across the whole of Cornwall.

We’d like someone to lead the public transport team, responsible for developing the network, managing the contract, delivering the Enhanced Partnership, overseeing concessionary fares as well as the infrastructure to support our services. You’ll be working closely with the schools, project, highway and strategy teams in an integrated way to deliver better buses for Cornwall.

Whilst the location/work-base for this role has been specified, our evolving ways of working means that the role may require you to also work remotely (e.g. from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.

This position will be subject to a criminal record disclosure check.

This position is politically restricted.

We are open to discussion about flexible working.
