Our staff, students and partners travel to our campuses from a diverse regional and national area. We therefore have to operate an effective transport strategy to ensure the business needs of the University are met, whilst complying with planning legislation, helping the city meet its transport needs and achieving the challenging goals of our transport strategy.
The successful candidate will be required to manage one part-time member of staff and a student placement, progress work on the targets set in our transport strategy, advise on specific transport plans for capital projects, conduct transport surveys and effectively communicate the benefits of our strategy to a wide audience.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent written and communication skills and have an understanding of transport plans and the planning process. You will also have good analytical skills and a positive approach to the delivery and management of change.
