Senior Transport Planner, Transport Planner and Assistant Transport Planner

At Hampshire County Council we have re-shaped part of our business in order to grow our income and skills base through a consultancy service – Hampshire Services (hants.gov.uk/sharedexpertise). Among others, we offer sold services to public and private sector clients in the following areas:

  -  Engineering and Transport

  -  Environment and Planning

  -  Research Development

  -  Economic Development

Within the “engineering and transport” area we are looking for an Assistant Transport Planner, Transport Planner and Senior Transport Planner.

Typical projects would include the development of reports such as transport assessments and statements, and site specific transport studies as well as managing other teams delivering engineering studies and on-street works on behalf of our clients. However, we have scope to develop our business into many different areas based on the skills held within our team, and the wider departments.

Hampshire Services is a growing part of our work where you can put your mark on what we do, and how we deliver our services. With relevant experience within the transport planning or engineering field, you will have excellent project management skills, good commercial acumen, strong customer service skills and the ability to develop relationships with new and existing clients.
