An experienced Transport Planner is required to join our client's rapidly expanding office in West Yorkshire. With multiple offices, and a long established business, they enjoy a strong reputation in the industry with their clients and employees.

The consultancy requires a person with a good understanding of the transport issues associated with development planning. Good experience should have been gained in the preparation and delivery of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Access Appraisals. You will be numerate with good technical report writing and data analysis skills.

Experience should have been gained in the use of computer software such as Junctions 9 (ARCADY, PICADY), TRANSYT and/or LinSig. Candidates should be reasonably proficient with MS applications.

A degree in a related subject is required, and an M.Sc or further transport planning or relevant post graduate qualifications in addition is desirable, but this is not essential.  

Prospects to progress are excellent as the office is young and expanding rapidly. The basic salary is negotiable,  and a comprehensive and very attractive benefits package will be offered in addition.
