The Strategic Transport department at Hampshire County Council is seeking to grow its Transport Planning and Major Scheme Development teams in order to be able to deliver even better outcomes for the residents, and businesses of Hampshire. We are currently looking to recruit 3 experienced transport planners to undertake a varied work load which looks to provide access to work, employment and leisure activities leading to a sustainable and vibrant local economy and making Hampshire a great place to live, work and enjoy. It is therefore no surprise that a wide range of development is planned to deliver new housing and communities. It is also one of the most productive parts of the UK but with its fair share of transport challenges to overcome to deliver our Corporate Strategy. We are continuing to transform and innovate to improve the delivery of local transport services within a tough fi nancial climate.
We have opportunities from Senior Transport Planner to Principal Transport Planner level, within a salary range of £32,752 to £45,524.
