David Statham has started a new role as Managing Director of First Rail London, the new operator of the London Overground.
Statham has spent the past three years as Commercial Director Rail at FirstGroup. He also spent seven years as Managing Director at Southeastern Railway.
He said: “Having supported FirstGroup's successful bid and mobilisation of the contract, I'm now focused on building on the continued success of this essential network.
“Our priority is now to continue delivering safe, reliable services for passengers across London and beyond.”
