Salary: Grades D-H (£18,936 - £36,372 per annum)
Location: predominantly Kingston offices (Guildhall complex) but occasionally at Sutton Offices (Denmark Road, Carshalton)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time - part-time working arrangements will be considered

Sustainable Transport is one of five teams in the Highways and Transport group, and is well established with a track record of delivering innovative, and award winning, sustainable transport projects. The team has a number of Sustainable Transport Officers and as such you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects.
Experience of promoting sustainable transport initiatives along with strong project and budget management skills are core to what we are looking for. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have experience (3 years+) in the promotion of sustainable transport initiatives including delivery of sustainable transport roadshows and consultation events. As an experienced project manager, they will be used to delivering work on time and on budget. They will be used to working in a public facing role, communicating with the general public and be experienced in managing small teams of staff.

For all roles your work with us will help ensure our highways and transport infrastructure is safe, fit for purpose, sustainable, cost effective and well connected. So, you’ll need to have good communication skills with the ability to put your ideas across clearly to colleagues and customers - both in person and in writing, and you’ll need to demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritise your workload effectively in order to work on a number of projects simultaneously from inception to completion.
