Job title: Transport Coordinator (Fixed Term)

Estate Management are looking to recruit a Transport Coordinator to join the Environment and Energy Section which provides strategic direction to the University on environmental sustainability issues.
Within this 2 year fixed term position the role holder will support the Transport Manager in implementing the University's Transport Strategy.
Key elements of the role will include:
• The delivery and implementation of a range of transport initiatives identified in the University's Transport Strategy, which may include walking and cycling infrastructure schemes, pool bike schemes, car clubs, electric charging points and development of travel resources.
• Promotion of the Transport Strategy and travel plan initiatives to University stakeholders through the development of a variety of communication methods.
• Monitoring of departmental travel patterns and progress against Transport Strategy targets. Experience of managing sustainable transport projects is essential, along with the confidence to encourage and influence a wide and varied audience.
