Salary; £32,075.07 - £35,068.07 per year

Role Purpose
We are seeking to recruit a Team Leader: Transport Services for our Passenger Transport Service.
The main duties will include the scheduling, procurement, publicity and information, and daily management of local bus service contracts in the Scottish Borders. You will also be responsible for the line management of our contracted services team (Home to School, SAN and Social Work contracts) and the Galashiels Transport Interchange. This post also includes budget responsibility for the bus subsidies budget (£3 million gross) so experience of Leadership and budget management would be an advantage.
We rate this role so highly that we are offering the successful candidate the unique experience of shadowing the current Team Leader for a period up to 1 year (to cover his impending retirement).
Essential
Ideally you will be a degree educated (or similar) transport professional who is looking to take their career to the next level; an industry related qualification such as CPC or Membership of a relevant Chartered Institute would be expected.
