Job Title: Principal Engineer Policy (Transport and Road Safety)

Pay Grade:   P06 (£42,876 - £45,666)

Directorate: Highways and Traffic Management

Waltham Forest is looking for an exceptional traffic engineer and a dynamic team player to support and build on our recent achievements in delivering a number of prestigious schemes and maintaining our excellent record of reducing road casualties across the borough.  

As a principal traffic engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of traffic engineering projects from feasibility, outline design and implementation including accident reduction schemes, controlled parking zones and continuous improvement projects.
