Can you manage the successful delivery of a £300m programme in a complex political environment?Have you a proven track record in procurement, civil engineering contracts, highway design, developer contributions, funding bids and stakeholder liaison? Can you develop a pipeline of schemes ready for funding bids in one of the biggest Highway Authorities in the country where growth on a massive scale is planned?
Your job will be to direct and control the provision of the Major Capital Schemes Programme and the Local Growth Fund Programme. You will act as the key point of contact and be responsible for the performance of the service. You will oversee business case preparation, procurement, developer liaison, design and construction. You will manage a large team of highly experienced project and programme managers. As part of the interview process for this role you will be required to complete an occupational personality questionnaire prior to your interview.
