Assistant Group Manager (Sustainable Transport)

You will manage a team delivering active travel and sustainable transport projects, including public realm infrastructure.

You will have a Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline and be able to demonstrate relevant extensive experience, including experience of producing engineering solutions in compliance with relevant regulations and delivering complex engineering projects in constrained urban environments.

You must have knowledge of procurement processes, tender management and experience of NEC3 contracts. You should have good communication/ presentation skills, proficient IT skills and the ability to effectively manage a team. You should also be able to manage budgets and monitor performance against targets.

Experience in designing active travel infrastructure and public realm works is desirable along with the ability to use GIS, Microsoft Office and project management software.
