SENIOR TRAFFIC SIGNALS ENGINEER
A Senior Traffic Signals Engineer is now required by our client in Hampshire to join one of their multi discipline teams working on a wide range of interesting and challenging projects.
With a relevant degree or HNC/HND qualified, your principal role will be the design and delivery of traffic signal schemes, from inception through to implementation. Although primarily working on traffic signals schemes, you will also be involved on other junction forms and highway link designs, as well as traffic assessments at various stages of their design life. You will also support local authority clients in the management, modification and refurbishment of all their ITS assets.
Candidates for this position will have good AutoCAD design capability, and have gained experience on the capacity analysis of junctions, using Junctions 8, LinSig and TRANSYT. In addition, you should have skills in TR2500 specification writing, the production of signal timings for CLF plans, TA 84 compliant package, and a good knowledge of industry standards such as DMRB and TSRGD. Good report writing and communication skills are essential.
You will be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment, and providing appropriate solutions to problems. There will be the need for occasional site visits.

The salary is negotiable, but expected to be in the range of £35-40,000 p.a., plus a range of excellent flexible benefits.
