An experienced and talented Technical Director (Highways & Infrastructure) is sought by our client, an multi-discipline consultancy, for their main office in the South West of England.

Candidates should have a substantial number of years experience in highways and infrastructure, in order to manage highway design, infrastructure projects, and drainage schemes throughout the company's work in Southern and SW England. You will take responsibility for agreeing fee budgets, identifying scope of work, managing resources, monitoring progress and reporting to the client. In addition to excellent communication and presentation skills with clients and colleagues, proven financial, project and team management expertise is essential.

You will have technical experience and knowledge to make considered judgements on the interpretation of technical assessments, and to structure arguments in support of project objectives. Experience and knowledge of DMRB, MfS and Section 38, 104 & 278 processes are required.

In addition, you should be competent in business development, and have a front facing, commercial attitude.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, and be a Chartered Engineer.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious person. The salary package is negotiable, depending on experience, but is likely to be in the range of £70-80,000+ p.a., plus an attractive benefits package.
