Transport Consultant and Project Manager Roles
Viaqqio is the future mobility division of the ESP Group – designing, developing and delivering innovative mobility services. We are a small, multi-disciplinary team based in Edinburgh.
We currently have several new and exciting opportunities within our team.
We are looking for a Senior Transport Consultant (£30,000) who is keen to contribute their consultancy skills to a variety of future mobility projects.
The applicant should have around 3 to 5 years previous experience in consultancy, with a good understanding of UK transport policy and operations and the varied objectives of different stakeholders in the transport sector. They should come with an understanding of how to balance policy needs and user needs, but also be interested in shaping the future of transport and mobility.
We also require a Transport Technology Consultant (£30,000) who is keen to apply their experience of digital technologies to support innovation in the transport and mobility sector.
The applicant should have around 3 to 5 years previous experience in consultancy, with a good understanding of emerging digital technologies and their applications. They will be expected to be versatile and to contribute to a variety of consultancy projects which could cover: intelligent mobility, smart cities, mobility as a service, autonomous vehicles and data management. They should also be confident to help to develop new digitally-enabled business models and to contribute to the design of new user-facing concepts.
We are also looking for a Research & Development Project Manager (£30,000) to be a part of the implementation team at Viaqqio. You will be in charge of the launch and management of one of our Mobility as a Service (MaaS) offers. As the lead for this element of the Viaqqio Mobility as a Service (MaaS) programme you will report to Viaqqio’s Programme Manager and the client. The role will also involve key interactions with Viaqqio’s Pilot Coordinator, the co-design team, the other parts of the ESP Group (Journeycall and Systex) and a network of key external subcontractors and stakeholders.
