There is a lot happening in Cumbria, with over £25 billion of investment and nearly 20,000 new homes being delivered over the next decade.  The planning and delivery of the infrastructure to support this growth is critical. We are seeking motivated and innovative individuals to join our infrastructure planning team. 

A key role of this team is to ensure the infrastructure needed to support growth can be identified and delivered.  This requires working with district council partners, the Cumbria LEP, the development industry and government departments and its agencies.

We are looking for individuals with experience in Local Plans, the consideration of Nationally of Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs), transport and infrastructure planning and delivery including Strategic Transport Modelling and economic appraisal of infrastructure schemes.
