Want to work in Australia? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Transport Modeller / Planner to join our client's large transport planning team based in Eastern Australia, who work on a range of challenging and innovative projects throughout the country and elsewhere overseas.

With at least 4 years relevant experience, you must be degree qualified, and any additional postgraduate qualifications would be welcome. Those seeking to gain additional qualifications will be supported by our client.

Candidates should have the following attributes :-

(1)  Good technical skills and experience in transport modelling and transport planning.

(2)  The ability to successfully manage transport modelling projects, including taking financial responsibility and responsibility for delivery.

(3)  Experience in using VISSIM (essential). Experience in the use of LinSig and AIMSUN, and any other relevant transport software, would be very helpful.

(4)  The ability to contribute to and lead on the technical delivery of transport modelling project, as well as technical delivery in this specialism as an input to larger, multi-disciplinary projects.

(5)  An understanding of the theory of modelling principles across meso and micro platforms, and their application in a range of scenarios, analysing complex real world problems.

(6)  Ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical clients.

Candidates should have a proven track record in working on major land use / transport multi-disciplinary projects, and have experience in communication with clients and stakeholders to deliver technical outcomes. Any project management experience would be welcome.

Our client will offer a competitive, negotiable salary depending on experience, likely to be in the range of AUD 90-120,000 p.a., with an additional package of benefits including relocation assistance and visa sponsorship.
