TfGM oversees transport in Greater Manchester, delivering and improving transport services, facilities and information to make travel easier for everyone. We deliver high-profile, large-scale transport projects such as the expansion of the Metrolink network to the Trafford Centre and new state of the art rail & bus inter-changes in Bolton, Wigan, Ashton and Stockport. Greater Manchester is changing. With a growing population and economy, and one of the most significant devolution agendas nationally, this is an exciting time for transport in Greater Manchester.

Working within the Bus Services function at TfGM you will be involved in a wide variety of projects. You will be responsible for delivering improvements to the bus services team, from research and analysis to helping procure and deliver new solutions that have a real effect on people’s lives. You will support policy reviews such as on School Transport and Accessible Transport looking for opportunities to transform and innovate. You will build and develop relationships with stakeholders to collaborate and support projects such as Mobility as a Service and ultra-low emission vehicles.

You will have knowledge of data management systems; be able to demonstrate that you can analyse complex data and report conclusions clearly and concisely; and will thrive in a busy team atmosphere, where demands and processes may be continuously changing and evolving.
