This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Traffic Modeller / Transport Planner to join a well established team in central London, and work on innovative projects for a wide variety of UK and international clients. Our client is a successful firm of multi-discipline consultants, and as such are able to offer you superb career prospects, and the opportunity develop and expand your existing skills base.

Qualified with a relevant degree, you will have at least 2 years post graduate experience, and be skilled in the use of micro-simulation software such as VISSIM and/or PARAMICS. Some additional skills in junction modelling, such as LinSig, Junctions 9 etc., would also be helpful.

Apart from modelling, you should have gained some experience in other areas of transport planning, such as development planning (transport assessments, travel planning etc.), or strategic macro modelling (SATURN, CUBE Voyager, EMME, VISUM etc.). Some knowledge in the operation of traffic signals would be useful.

Experience of complex data processing tasks and, ideally, scripting would be helpful.
