An enthusiastic Technician is needed to work in the Council’s highway Engineering and Transport Teams. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
The role
The Asset Strategy and Technical Support Group is the technical group for highways, property and public realm improvements in the London Borough of Lewisham.
This group provides the base for technical support across the Resources & Regeneration Directorate, and leads on Engineering, Technical, Policy and regulatory compliance matters.
The new role will play a major part in the delivery of a broad range of highways projects, as well as providing professional and technical support form a range of major schemes, new developments and other transport programmes.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Technician to provide technical expertise, support and be lead officer on highways related projects.
A Parking Technician to provide engineering and project management support on the delivery of a number of complex traffic and parking programmes.
