Warwickshire County Council is seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to manage our successful Parking Management Team. You will play a key role in ensuring that on-street parking services in Warwickshire are delivered to the highest standards in an area of work that is vital to keeping our residents safe and supporting sustainable economic growth in the county.

The Role

37.0 Hours per Week

The Parking Management Team Leader position is an exciting role that supports the delivery of one the most high profile front line services within the Authority’s Communities Directorate.

This post offers the potential for the successful candidate to make a positive impact on what is a significant area of the Transport and Economy portfolio. The candidate that is successful in this role will ensure that the parking management services are effective, responsive and compliant with expectations.

The effective movement and management of people and goods in the County, including how vehicles park, unload and move is a difficult balance of priorities. As a result, the Parking Management service is required to be robust, innovative and continuously improving to meet all requirements whilst in a changing environment and with a finite resource.

You will lead a team of officers whilst also monitoring the performance of key delivery partners who are engaged with the enforcement and back office services within the parking service.

Key Requirements
The successful candidate for this role will need to demonstrate significant experience and achievements in a similar role and be able to work effectively with our contractors, internal partners and Elected Members.
