Can you meet the challenge?

 

We are looking for someone to come and join our Local Transport Team to monitor and assist in the development of performance management systems, processes and comprehensive reporting mechanisms to demonstrate progress, delivery and performance of local transport programmes across Sheffield City Region (SCR).

The role will be involved with monitoring transport programmes on behalf of multiple organisations within the Sheffield City Region, liaising with officers across those organisations to secure and collate the information required to support successful delivery of all relevant local strategies.

 

If so, do you have the qualities?

 

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent academic or professional attainment, extensive experience of working within a project/performance management environment, a good working knowledge of local government legislation and working practices along with previous experience of working within an analytical role. Additionally you will need to have the following qualities:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent relationship builder
  • Analytical and numeric skills
  • Computer literacy skills
  • Financial and commercial awareness
