Summary of post:

The Principal Strategic Public Transport Officer is part of the Strategic Public Transport Team which is key to the effective funding, planning and delivery of high profile and innovative projects to improve transport provision in South Gloucestershire and the wider West of England area.

You will have a focus on the delivery of Public Transport solutions for an increasing population who will be participating in an active and growing local and regional economy. This will mean working with Public Transport providers to deliver the Council’s agenda for bus and rail. The role will include working with senior management, Council Members, partners and stakeholders in other local authorities, private industry and the voluntary sector.
