City of York Council is seeking someone to join a dedicated team, as a Traffic Projects Officer. You will be involved in delivering a variety of schemes and projects. This covering issues such as residents parking, traffic speed, road safety, traffic regulation both permanent and temporary. Other components include traffic planning and control associated with the many events held in the city through to the regulation and licensing of day to day requests which impact on the highway.
Ideally you will be educated to HNC level in an associated discipline together with experience in traffic management/regulation or transferable experience from a closely related highway/transport field.
