Can you meet the challenge?
The shape of public transport in the Sheffield City Region (SCR) is changing. To respond to this change and ensure that customer excellence is at the heart of all that South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE) does, we are looking for someone to come and join our team in the role of Head of Public Transport.

As the Head of Public Transport, you will be accountable to our Executive Director and will be part of the ground breaking unique voluntary bus partnerships model that operates in South Yorkshire. The role will also be responsible for a number of high-profile contracts of significant value such as the influential Bus Rapid Transit scheme. SCR demands the best from SYPTE and the Head of Public Transport will need to focus on delivering improvements in performance in order to underpin the role public transport plays in the success of the SCR.
