We have a new and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated ‘active travel’ advocate to join us as Cycling Promotions Officer covering the borough of Warrington.
Based within our Smarter Travel Choices team, you will run key projects, enthusing residents, employees and visitors to cycle more often, learning new skills and improving their physical and mental well-being, focusing on developing and managing the provision of cycle rides and training for all abilities.
Outgoing and proactive, you will employ a wide range of skills to build partnerships and relationships with local stakeholders and communities, developing projects from scratch through to evaluation and reporting, and solving obstacles and challenges with a positive approach. You will have experience in delivering and reporting on projects, preferably in the sector of community development, and be able to communicate effectively and influence a variety of audiences using your excellent community engagement skills.
