Responsible for managing a broad team. The post holder will oversee the preparation of annual and forward works programmes for highways, flood risk management, and street lighting. Development and implementation of Highway Asset Management Plan and Local Flood Risk Management Strategy will be key priorities. The postholder will also lead on the development and delivery of all service strategies, policies, carbon reduction related to asset management, and operational plans including budget management, performance management and contract management. This is an opportunity to make your mark and develop existing or new expertise within the Asset Management Team.
You should hold a degree in a related discipline with demonstrable experience as an asset manager leading a team of technical professionals, supported by membership of an appropriate professional body.
Your background will enable you to confidently carry out your duties and take responsibility for delivering asset management functions including the delivery of annual Revenue and Capital maintenance works.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
