This role, leading the Management Team prescribed in the Partnership Agreement is crucial in managing and developing franchises covering the North of England as your role is to lead and frame the strategic contracts and partnerships with rail franchisees whilst facilitating improvements for future services.  Commerciality is at the heart of this role which is responsible for the effective management and delivery of the £ multi-billion rail franchise contracts.

As an experienced transport professional you will bring a track record of managing complex programmes and contracts as well as the commercial and business planning skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders in an environment of transformation and ambition for further devolution.
