Our Economic Analysis function plays a crucial role in defining our future direction, providing a centre of expertise in transport markets and economics. As a key member of this team, you’ll contribute to a variety of industry planning processes, developing forecasting models and appraisals which assess the commercial and environmental viability of our projects. The work you carry out will help Britain run better, maximising value to passengers and the wider UK economy.
Education to degree level or equivalent.
A highly numerate and analytical mind, with an eye for detail
Strong oral and written communications skills
An appreciation of the rail industry planning process
Preferably, experience in transport economics, including rail industry demand forecasting and transport appraisal methodologies.
