PADECO Co., Ltd is seeking a full-time permanent staff for both Business Development and Rail & Transport Planning Consulting Assignments to work in London, UK Branch Office. Candidates should be specialist in sectors including transport, rail, economics, environment, climate change, or energy.

Roles & Responsibilities
The candidates should have a flexible attitude and proven experience working in both business development and project implementation. Travel overseas on short notice to developing countries is necessary for both positions. The position requirements are the following:
• To work with team of international consultants delivering projects in various developing countries across Africa, Asia and Europe;
• To assist and lead in proposal development including technical writing and recruitment, mainly for projects funded by international development agencies and local governments;
• To engage in business development activities including networking, building relationships with partners and clients and gathering business intelligence for new projects;
• To lead in management, coordination, administration, cost control and technical back-stopping of projects in all sectors (not only transport) undertaken by PADECO;
• Budget control and maintenance of budgets for on-going projects and support for budget recommendations during new project proposals.

Qualifications and Attributes

Essential
• Bachelors Degree in relevant subject; Masters degree an advantage;
• Five to eight years work experience in relevant sector (with overseas project experience);
• High level of report writing and technical skill;
• Flexible attitude and ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse nationalities;
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and time management skill;
• Willingness to travel on short-notice for project related activities;
• Experience in project and budget management

Desirable
• Experience of the ODA sector (EU, EBRD) desirable;
• Competence in French will be an advantage, but not essential;
• Proven business acumen
