This is an exciting time for capital investment into transport infrastructure across West Yorkshire and York.
The Transport Partnerships team oversees partner delivery for major infrastructure including the £1bn West Yorkshire Plus Transport Fund, £173.5m package of transport improvements for Leeds and the aspirational Cycle City Ambition Grant across the Leeds City Region. This role will provide strategic leadership to the team and be responsible for ensuring strong partnership working with local councils, agencies, internal departments and the supply chain to drive forward delivery of a range of ambitious infrastructure programmes by 2021 which will in turn have a significant impact on the regional economy.
We would welcome applications from a senior professional with a demonstrable track record in successful major infrastructure delivery in a partnership setting. A thorough understanding of different delivery models and related procurement strategies is required.
