Assistant Programme Manager, Electrification

Energy Saving Trust is looking for a driven and proactive Assistant Programme Manager to join us and play an active role in engaging with consumers and businesses across Scotland to highlight the wide-ranging benefits of ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEVs) and the electrification of Scotland’s road transport.

Reporting to the Account Manager - Electrification, this key role will see our successful candidate organise and deliver events on behalf of Transport Scotland, including three annual Electric Vehicle Roadshow events, plus the annual GreenFleet Scotland and Evolution events, promoting ULEVs to fleet professionals and consumers.

You will prioritse supporting the management and delivery of a large-scale extended ULEV trial to provide consumers and businesses with the opportunity to experience ULEVs, while supporting the management and delivery of a range of other transport programmes.

To secure this exciting opportunity
A graduate in a relevant discipline, you will have a sound understanding of electric and low carbon vehicles and of the environmental impact of transport. You will also have experience engaging with businesses and/or consumers to drive positive change, plus event management and project management experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also vital.
