SENIOR TRANSPORT PLANNER
Our client is a small, but very well established firm of transport infrastructure consultants. They provide a range of consultancy services, covering master planning and strategy, modelling, simulation, logistics, transport, traffic engineering and highways. They also operate, with considerable success, in the aviation field, both landside and airside, where they have a number of lucrative, long term ongoing projects at major UK airports.
Their success has brought about the need for additional staff to join the team, the most urgent of which is for an experienced Senior Transport Planner. Candidates should ideally have a relevant degree (although this is not absolutely essential), and an M.Sc and/or membership of a professional body would be helpful.
Experience in development planning (transport) is essential, and any experience gained on aviation projects would of course be welcome, but this is not essential. In addition, you should have experience on some of the relevant software packages such as ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig, TRANSYT etc., and ideally be able to use AutoCAD and the KeySIGN add-on.
Excellent written and spoken English is essential, as is the ability to communicate well at all levels.

The basic salary will depend on experience and qualifications, but the range indicated is £34-40,000 p.a., plus a range of benefits and bonuses.
