The Team:
Our Traffic & Transport Planning team is involved in some of the UK’s most high profile, complex and stimulating projects that are diverse and technically demanding. We have an enviable reputation in the delivery of some of the UK’s and indeed the world’s most prestigious and challenging projects. Our current client portfolio includes Highways England, Network Rail, Crossrail2, Transport for London, National Grid, Civil Engineering Contractors and Borough/County Councils, for whom we undertake the planning, design and supervision of civil engineering and transport solutions to exceed our client’s requirements.
Owing to recent contract awards, we are now looking to recruit a forward thinking Apprentice Transport Planner to work on a wide portfolio of schemes throughout the UK, ensuring we meet and exceed our client’s requirements.

The role will allow you to access “on and off the job training” gaining knowledge and hands on experience of supporting our teams in their delivery of exciting projects across our sectors.
Typically an Apprentice will work 5 days per week. Typically 4 days “on the job” training and 1 day “off the job” attending sessions away from the office for technical training as per the Training provider’s calendar which is confirmed prior to the Apprentice start date.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Transport Planner within the Transport Planning team, you will support the delivery of technically excellent cost effective solutions, under professional supervision, work in collaboration with other design disciplines and acquire the knowledge and practical skills through on-the-job learning to attain a formal qualification, developing your industry knowledge though affiliations and continuing education.
