Salary range: £46,146 - £48,963 p.a. inc.

Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Civic Centre and other locations from time to time

The Post

The role involves providing a steer on the Council's strategic direction regarding transport and movement in the borough. This is not limited to within Brent but also how transport and major infrastructure projects affect Brent at a national, regional and sub-regional level. The post holder is responsible for developing, authoring and monitoring a range of strategic transport policies.

The contribution to policies, strategies and related projects will help improve the transport infrastructure and environment for residents, businesses and visitors to Brent.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have experience in contributing to transport policies and strategies, working at a strategic level and display excellent project management skills.

You will the ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences is essential, as well as being capable of producing complex reports including data analysis.
