SENIOR TRANSPORT PLANNER
Our client has developed into one of the largest UK, privately owned, multi-disciplinary consultants. They offer a wide range of solutions to clients in the UK and a number of overseas locations. Due to an increasing workload they now require a Senior Transport Planner to join the busy team in their London office.
The work is both interesting and varied. Our client has a strong workload in development planning, with the company offering support to their clients at both a local and national level. Degree qualified, candidates must have a proven track record in the development field, with experience in the preparation and delivery of Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Transport Assessments, and Access Feasibility studies.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to manage small projects to quality, cost and time are essential.
Experience should have been gained in the use of computer software such as ARCADY, PICADY, TRICS, TRANSYT and/or LinSig, with familiarity in micro-simulation software, such as VISSIM or PARAMICS, being an advantage, but not essential.
This is an exciting opportunity, and prospects to progress your career are excellent. The basic salary is negotiable, but probably in the region of £37-44,000 p.a., depending on experience, together with a flexible, comprehensive benefits package.
