Due to the continued high level of development planning work, a tremendous opportunity has now arisen for a person to join their Manchester team at Associate level. Our client is keen to take on an ambitious, hard working individual who is looking to progress their career within an expanding office.

Candidates must be degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant subject. Extensive experience gained in development planning (transport) is essential, which must include managing and providing the technical input into transport assessments, travel plans, access strategies, etc.  A detailed knowledge of the transport aspect of the planning system and an understanding of operational assessment software is also essential.

In addition, candidates must be capable of managing a small team and dealing with clients effectively. Excellent spoken and written English skills are essential, and you must be able to communicate at all levels.

The commencing basic salary, which is negotiable, is expected to be in the region of £55-65,000 p.a. In addition, a very attractive benefits package is on offer which will include a car allowance, generous bonuses, private family healthcare, pension contribution, and professional subscriptions.
