An opportunity has arisen to join the West Kent Transport & Development team as a Principal Transport and Development Planner. This is a permanent position at grade KR11 (£37,547 to £43,209) and the team is based in Ashford.
The Transport & Development team is at the forefront of guiding the way in which new developments can come forward to deliver jobs and housing as part of our sustainable growth ambition for Kent. I’m looking for an experienced and motivated transport/ development planner to devise new transport strategies and policies in district local plans, to assess and advise on the transport aspects of major planning applications, to develop schemes and secure their funding and co-ordinate their delivery through effective partnership working.
