An excellent opportunity now exists in our client's office in Surrey for an experienced and talented  Transport Planner (Development Planning) to join a very well established, multi-discipline office.

With a strong workload in development planning, the company offers both pre and post planning support to their clients at both a local and national level. The work is both interesting and varied. Degree qualified, candidates should have some experience in the development field, ideally covering the preparation and delivery of Transport Statements, Travel Planning and Smarter Choices, Transport Assessments, and Access Feasibility Studies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to manage small projects to quality, cost and time are essential.

Experience should have been gained in the use of computer software such as ARCADY, TRANSYT, PICADY, TRICS, LinSig etc. Successful candidates will be proficient with MS applications, and any experience on micro-simulation software such as VISSIM and/or PARAMICS would be helpful but not essential.
