Play a key role in delivering the Healthy Streets agenda in our dynamic, diverse, inner London borough. Lambeth has been a trailblazer in promoting and delivering excellence in walking and cycling and we have ambitious plans to build on past successes.
Your experience of evidence based policy making and innovation will shape how we deliver sustainable transport in Lambeth to meet the needs of our growing population over the next 20 years. Lambeth has the highest potential for cycling of any inner London borough and your skills will help unlock this and deliver healthy streets to benefit the whole community.
You will need to demonstrate a systematic approach to policy development as well as political awareness and excellent stakeholder engagement skills. A thorough understanding of the complexities of transport planning and operating in a local authority context is also essential.
