An exceptional opening has arisen with our client in Surrey for a Transport Planner at Principal or Senior level.

Appropriately qualified in a relevant discipline, and with consultancy experience, you will have a technical understanding and broad expertise in as many as possible of the following fields :

Development Planning
Feasibility Appraisal
Transport Assessments
Travel Planning
Traffic Engineering

A good understanding of Junctions 8/9 (ARCADY, PICADY), TRANSYT, TRICS, LinSig etc. is also required.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong report writing track record to effectively and successfully liaise with public and private sector clients. You will work on a wide range of interesting projects and take responsibility for assisting, supervising, and supporting junior Graduates and Technicians.

This presents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual. Our client will offer a competitive salary which will depend upon the level of the appointment, but likely to be in the range of £38-52,000 p.a., with an additional package of flexible benefits.
