An exciting opportunity has just arisen for a Transport Planner at either Principal or Senior level to join our client's dynamic, expanding team in central London. The role offers excellent career prospects to an ambitious and hard working individual.  The successful candidate will enjoy exposure to a wide range of clients, including high profile clients, and will work on nationally recognised projects as well as more local ones.

Candidates will be degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant subject, have extensive development planning experience (transport) and good technical skills which should include managing and providing the technical input into transport assessments, travel plans, access strategies, etc.  A detailed knowledge of the transport aspect of the planning system and an understanding of operational assessment software is also essential.

Candidates must also have the ability to help manage an expanding team and manage client relations. Excellent written and spoken English is essential, as is the ability to communicate well at all levels.

Our client has an innovative approach to problem solving and the successful candidate will be rewarded well for hard work.

A negotiable basic salary will be offered, probably in the range of £40-55,000 p.a., depending upon the level of the appointment, together with a comprehensive benefits package including bonuses, 25 days leave, healthcare, pension contribution, professional subscriptions etc.
