A talented Transport Planner is needed by our client, a forward thinking company specialising in transport planning and development infrastructure. With an expanding workload, the transport planning team seek an additional Transport Planner to join them as soon as possible in their Surrey office.

Candidates should be degree qualified with at least two years post graduate experience, with strong experience gained in development planning covering the preparation and delivery of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans, and Access Feasibility Studies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to manage small projects to quality, cost and time are essential.

Experience should have been gained in the use of computer software such as Junctions 8/9 (ARCADY, PICADY), TRICS, LinSig etc. Successful candidates will be proficient with MS applications, and any experience on micro-simulation software such as VISSIM and/or PARAMICS would be helpful but not essential.

The project work is varied and interesting, with a mix of mainly private sector clients together with a number of local authorities. Prospects to progress within the team are excellent. It's a dynamic, friendly office, and the offices are new and first class.

The basic salary is negotiable, but probably in the region of £28-36,000 p.a., depending on experience, together with a comprehensive benefits package.
