Our client is a leading multi-discipline consultant with teams covering all areas of transport planning. An additional Pedestrian Modeller is now required to join their London office.
Degree qualified, candidates should have at least 2 years pedestrian modelling experience, ideally using either LEGION, VISWALK, or MassMotion. Although not essential, some experience of vehicle micro-simulation modelling would be very helpful. A knowledge and awareness of relevant pedestrian planning guidance and static capacity assessment techniques is also expected.
You should be capable of producing reports to a good technical standard, and have gained some client liaison experience.
The role is varied and interesting, and will include model building, calibration/validation, model testing and auditing, and output analysis. For most of the time you will work in multi-discipline project teams, and will prepare and contribute to client reports and technical papers.
