Our client is expanding their traffic team in central and south London, and currently have vacancies for experienced Traffic Modellers at Graduate level (minimum 12 months consultancy experience), and also at Senior and Principal levels.

These positions are available on either a full or part-time basis.

Traffic Modellers are required to work on a number of high profile projects across the UK and overseas for a variety of clients. Candidates should have some or as many of the following skills as possible :-

(1)  Proficient in the use of LinSig, TRANSYT and/or VISSIM or PARAMICS.

(2)  Experience with UTC-VISSIM

(3)  Experience using GIS packages

(4)  Experience in Pedestrian Modelling

(5)  Knowledge of TfL's Modelling Guidelines and Model Audit Process (MAP).

(6)  Knowledge of data collection requirements and techniques.

(7)  Good numerical and analytical skills.

(8)  Good report writing skills.

(9)  Knowledge/experience of undertaking concept, preliminary or detailed design, especially for traffic signal schemes.

Although not essential, our client would prefer candidates to be degree qualified in an analytical subject.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience and have a good understanding in local network modelling using various modelling packages, and have experience of model calibration and validation techniques and criteria.

This position will appeal to candidates who want to develop their careers in traffic modelling, and progress quickly within an expanding team.

The base salaries will be very attractive, and are negotiable depending on the level of the appointment. A package of flexible benefits will also be offered.
